December Fun

Sledding has turned into a fun activity for our boys. Last year they were still a little young to really get into it. Not the case this year. They loved it and we had to hog tie them to get them home.Ryker

Daxton

The Juvenile Diabetes Reasearch Foundation has a Christmas sing-a-long every year. Ryker has been fine with sitting on Santa's lap this year. Last year he didn't want anything to do with him.

November

Well, our November is looking to be pretty busy too. We will find out what we are having on the 17th of November. We are super excited. I finally started to feel better the last couple of weeks so that has been nice. We will do the next up date when we know what we are having. Love you all!!!

October

I can't believe we didn't take more pictures for October. We really had a very busy October. The boys were able to go and ride Annie. She is our neighbors little horse. They had so much fun. We had numerous Halloween parties we went too. The Hagman family party, the JDRF trunk or treat, and the USU basketball game with trick or treating around the top concourse. Dax also got his pump this month and has loved having it. No more shots. We also had numerous doctors appointments this month. I was hoping November would slow down but the calendar isn't looking like that is going to happen. We like being busy though, especially when all the busyness is with our family.
Ryker is such a brave little one. He never hesitates to do anything outgoing.

We went to the pumpkin walk for the Hagman Halloween party and it was pouring rain so I left the camera in the car. Luckily Uncle Trent took a few pictures for us.
Daxton loves Bob the Builder. Ryker didn't want to take off his helmet because of the rain.

September

First day of pre school for Daxton. And of course Ryker had to put his backpack on too. We love our boys so much and are so proud of them.
Dax is such a ham!!

Daxton had his 5th birthday. I can't believe how grown up he is. Daxton loves to learn. He is always asking questions and remembers the smallest things. He will say things that make Brian and I look at each other with amazement. The other day he was sitting in the front room and asked me to turn the lights out because he was pretending to be nocturnal. Or, he informed Brian the other day that the way to tell elephants apart is that African elephants have bigger ears and Asian elephants have the smaller ears. He is the biggest tease and is always telling jokes. We are so grateful for our Daxton.

I wasn't feeling to well so Daxton was so understanding and let us get a cake from the store this year instead of me making one. He chose a Diego cake.

Big Pa and Grandma Ward came down for his birthday. They love their grandparents.

A busy month!!

We had a lot going in August. First, we did the "Walk For A Cure." As most of you know Daxton was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes almost 2 years ago. This was our first year to do the walk, but have decided we are going to continue to participate each year in hopes that they will find a cure within Daxton's lifetime. Here's Daxton with his picture. They post pictures of children with Type 1 diabetes along the walk. It was fun to see all of the other children and know we aren't alone.

We found one of the only shady spots for lunch after we walked.
This is a picture of everyone who came to walk with us.

This was towards the end and man was it hot. I'm glad everyone still had smiles. Thanks everyone for donating and coming to walk with us. We love you all so very much!!

These are the boys in their new Aggie football outfits. I couldn't help but get them, they were so cute. I thought they would make the best Halloween costumes. Of course they haven't taken them off since we got them. Here they are showing off their muscles.
The boys in their football stance. They love to tackle each other down.

The boys LOVE Big Blue. Aggie family day is one of our favorite activities for the year.
We had just gotten done with the Walk For A Cure so I'm looking a little shabby in this picture.

Dax on the slide.

Ryker in the bounce house.

Janay got married on the 25th. I was able to take her bridals, do the cake, and the wedding video. She is so beautiful. It's always nice when the person you are taking the pictures of knows how to pose. She's a keeper.

Congratulations Jon & Janay!!!!!

August is already here!!!

Well, here it is August and a month since our last update. I can't believe school starts this month. We have had fun this last month with lots of activities. August is sure going to be busy though. Dax's birthday, diabetes family camp, walk for a cure, and Janay's wedding. We are excited to see most of you at the walk to cure diabetes. Thanks for all of your donations and support. We love you all so much.

Ryker snuggling up with Brian after he got home from work.

I just can't help myself. I love to dress the boys so they match. I know it's a little corny but I have to do it while I can, because I know someday soon they will be to the age when they won't let me anymore. They sure are handsome though.

We went to SLC on the 24th and let the boys play in the fountain.

Brian taught the boys to cover the holes with half their foot and spray everyone. Daxton thought is was hilarious and was spraying everyone around us. I ended up hiding behind the stroller with the camera.

Ryker running for his life.

Our library has fun activities in the summer. This one was about pirates. They got to go on a treasure hunt and walk the plank and such. These are their hats they made. I am making them say, "aaaarrrrrr." Very pirate like I know ;)

Last day of Champ Camp. Daxton scored the first goal for his team. Go Daxton!!! Or as our boys say, go Team Wild Wards!!!

Practice.

Swimming at the Surf n' Swim. The boys love the waves.

4th of July Fun

We love going back to Hryum to visit. Grandma and Big Pa sure know how to throw a party!!

What's the 4th without a little ice cream.

We watched fireworks in kaysville this year. The boys loved it. Ryker was a little scared at first but was loving it after 5 minutes. Thanks grandma for the glowing hats!

Finally an update

Well, I know it has been way to long since we have posted to the blog so there is going to be a lot in this one post. We love you all and can't to wait to see some of you on the 4th!!!

Well, it is potty training time. And what would it be without a picture of those cute little buns in those cute little unders. (That ones for you auntie H:)

These are our great neighbors, the Stevens. They invited us up to have dinner and go swimming at their fun camp site in Coalville. They are so fun.

Here are the boys holding fish food. They count to 3 and everyone around the pond throws the food in at the same time.

I didn't get a great picture but all the ripples are from the fish jumping around eating all the food. The boys loved it.

This is Champ Camp. The boys go every Saturday. They have done basketball, T-Ball, and next is Soccer. They love it. This is Ryker taking a swing.

Here's Daxton taking his swing and boy can he ever swing. One of the girls in charge there said she just loves Dax's laugh and that the boys are so cute. It must be a mom thing but I couldn't help but agree.

This is Father's Day. One of the presents the boys gave Bri was a thing of root beer with a sign on it that says
"Worlds Greatest 'Pop-a' "

The boys got a ride with Sister Stevens on their tractor. What boy doesn't love tractors.

Ouch!!!

Our wild man did it again. Ryk set a pile of pillows up at the end of the bed and jumped into them, unfortunatly he hit his head on the foot board of the bed.
